12-Week Supply of The Finest Fresh Tempeh - delivered chilled to your door

We've been making the finest fresh tempeh since 2013 using traditional Indonesian techniques and processes (where we lived for nearly a decade) - our tempeh is the go-to tempeh of the Indonesian community in the UK (where tempeh originated - spelt tempe in Bahasa).

It's very different and far superior in both taste and texture to the many pasteurised versions more commonly found in the UK and is clear to see at first sight - always with a lovely thick mycelium covering.

This is 'real' tempeh of the kind you'd find in Indonesia - but with European food safety practices (our production is IFS-certified!).

Our tempeh is made using only non-GMO soya beans.

It’s a fresh chilled product and should be refrigerated upon arrival. It’s also suitable for freezing and for best results we recommend chopping beforehand (and marinating, if desired) so it can be cooked straight from frozen.

Upon receipt, your tempeh will have a 13-day shelf-life but once opened it should be used within 3-days.

Price is inclusive of 6 separate nationwide deliveries, using a next-day courier service and chilled insulated packaging - ensuring the quality and freshness of our tempeh is not compromised.

Please contact us for the specific start date of your subscription – it could be anyway from 1-3 weeks depending on batch volumes and order pipeline.

Our batches are planned a week ahead and our tempeh takes time to make; after the pre-ferment and 24hr hot-soak we get to work on the beans the next day - followed by a slow 60hr fermentation. Then we must chill the tempeh carefully prior to packing. Great things can’t be rushed and our tempeh takes time.
